Owner and general manager

Knut Berg

Knut started in the dishes and worked his way up to General Manager. Knuts track record shows experience and operation of first-class hotels and organizations from 15 to 1000+ employees. He has two bachelor's degrees in hotel and tourism.

Knut has experience from Radisson and Nordic Choice Hotels (NCH), among others. In NCH, he held various positions, including General Manager at Clarion Hotel Stavanger and the 810 room Clarion Hotel The Hub (formerly Clarion Hotel Royal Christiania), as well as Senior Vice President for Comfort Hotels. He also worked for Belvar in Amsterdam, working with First Hotels and international brands such as Hyatt and Marriott.

Knut has worked as a consultant for several years with both large and small accounts. Everything from small independent hotels to chains, restaurants and cruise liners.

Knut has a genuine passion for hotels and hospitality, a solid understanding of operations, profitability and strategy.

Lavrans Gjønnes

Lavrans has extensive experience and solid knowledge of start-ups and operating restaurants and hotels. Through his work, he showed solid results in F&B in particular. After his hotel education, he gained experience in small and large restaurants and hotels.

Lavrans always pays attention to the details. He takes pride in providing great experiences for all guests. Although Lavrans is a "foodie", he likes to challenge established standards.

He has initiated, developed and operated several concepts. Lavrans is known for creative thinking, operational excellence and visions that provide good operations, better guest experiences and better profitability.

Fun Fact; Lavrans has also published several cookbooks, including "The best seafood ...". The cookbook won 1st prize and “book of the year” in 2012. Lavrans is passionate about food and wine, and not least the guest's experience.

Marius Kragstad

Marius is our business developer. He has extensive experience in various industries, and he's a strong strategic player. For the past 3 years, Marius has worked with business development of hotels in Europe, focusing on Poland and Spain. He works closely with the major international brands, and has developed several hotel projects in collaboration with Marriott, IHG and Hyatt among others.

Marius is an expert in contract negotiations, and has a large international network.

If you need advice at an early stage of commercial and financial analysis, Marius is the man.

Business Controller

Stein Erik Risvik

Stein Erik has good and broad experience in accounting, controlling and finance. He has worked as a controller in various sectors, including at Conoco Phillips and at chain level in retail (Rema 1000) and Nordic Choice Hotels. In addition, he has assisted various start-ups from idea to realization.

Solid Hospitality experience at both hotel and chain level, including reporting, controlling, budgeting, forecasting, and other cost controlling tasks.

Stein Erik is always looking for better ways to achieve the company's goals of growth and profitability.

Rudi Clausen

Rudi has his expertise in the combination of digital solutions and hospitality - a solid combo! He has experience various projects within service and IT-tools. Rudi's expertise in distribution, digital communication, marketing and transaction systems for hotels and restaurants makes it possible to share unique experiences, get more guests, more happy guest and more cost effective operations. Top-notch service and staff doesn’t help much if you do not reach your potential customers. You also need Rudi, good communication and distribution.
